Called to love, sent to serve
We are a Christ-centered ministry reaching families in crisis and communities in need with practical help and lasting hope.
How it all began
It started in a simple home, with a man who could not look away from his neighbors' needs.
In the late 1990s, Tatay Nicolas began opening his home to children who needed a meal, a quiet place to study, and someone to pray with them. What started as a few plates of rice shared after Sunday service slowly grew into regular feeding days for the whole community.
Today, Nicolas Home Ministry carries his work forward through volunteers, partner churches and generous friends: feeding children, sending students to school, bringing doctors to remote barangays, and standing with families when disaster strikes. Our prayer is to reach more communities with the same open-hearted love.
Tatay Nicolas
A humble servant whose open home became a refuge for many.
Tatay Nicolas lived a simple life, but he never believed he had too little to share. Neighbors remember him as the man who always had an extra plate at the table and a word of encouragement for anyone who passed by.
His faith was rooted in Matthew 25: that whatever we do for the least of these, we do for Christ. That conviction became the foundation of this ministry, and it is the legacy we continue to carry today.
"Because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me."
Matthew 25:40
